The lupus anticoagulant test is a blood test that checks for autoantibodies called lupus anticoagulants. They belong to

cells and cell proteins. They react with phospholipids, or fat molecules, in the blood cells which may stop the cells
from working properly. LAs are associated with an immune system disorder known as antiphospholipid syndrome.
