Anti LA (SSB) Test
This test diagnoses Lupus erythematosus and Sjogren’s syndrome. Anti SSB antibodies are important for the diagnosis of SLE. These antibodies are associated with a group of Lupus patients having skin diseases such as check erythema, alopecia, leukocytopenia, etc. SSB/LA antibodies test is not useful in patients that lack prominent antinuclear antibodies. The method used for this test is Multiplex Flow Immunoassay.
