Copper Test
The copper test is used for determining the deficiency or excess of copper in the blood. The deficiency of copper may
indicate kidney disease and the inability of the body to absorb copper. The excess copper may cause diarrhoea and
biliary cirrhosis(liver damage). This test is also helpful in the Diagnosis of Wilson disease(a rare genetic disorder
causing toxic copper accumulation in the Liver), anaemia and osteoporosis.
