Gamma Glutamyl transferase or GGT test is a blood test that measures the enzyme GGT in blood. GGT is present throughout
the body with highest concentration in liver. If liver is damaged or there is an obstruction (blockage) in bile duct
like due to gallstones, the GGT levels rise in blood. This test is hence recommended by doctors when patients show
symptoms of either of these conditions like yellowing of skin and eyes, pain in upper abdomen, etc. The GGT levels may
