Ultrasound breast is a safe, painless, non-invasive medical test that provides black and white images of the internal breast structure. A doctor may prescribe ultrasound for either a single side or both side breast scan.
The technology uses sound waves to study the internal structure of the breast. A transducer transmits
high-frequency sound waves through the skin then, the transmitted sound waves create an echo which converts into
an image.
