CT Head with contrast is an imaging technique wherein a specialised dye is injected in the vein which highlights certain areas of the head and the face and makes the images clearer on the CT scan. It helps doctors evaluate head injuries, internal bleeding, tumors, stroke, etc in more detail. It is more accurate than xrays as well as CT head without contrast.
