CT Neck Test
CT Neck or Computed tomography of Neck is a medical imaging test that uses X-rays to produce a 3-D image of the internal structures of the neck. It is a painless and non invasive procedure that produces a more detailed image of the internal organs, bones, soft tissues including the muscles, throat, tonsils, adenoids, airways, carotid vessels, thyroid, and salivary glands. It helps doctors evaluate neck injuries, bleeding, clots, tumors of the neck, etc in more detail. It is more advanced test as compared to X-rays as it produces a more accurate, clearer and detailed image than a normal x ray.
